Craigslist Rss module is a free joomla extension. Craigslist Rss will get the latest ads from craigslist from the city where the user is browsing from. While setting up, you can set up from 1 to 50 ads to display from category of your choice. You can filter the results with certain keywords too.
This module is based on Jeremy Wilken's awesome video tutorial that I found on joomlatutorials.com

I have released a new version that may work for you. If the city you are in is not available in craigslist, then by default it will pull san francisco. In the new version, I have improved the geo ip feature to make it fail safe. If you have curl enabled server, it should work without any problem.
Besides the new version also allows you to force entry a city, so only posts from that city shows up.
